Hello My Name Is...
Michael Romano
7th Grade Science
Hey y'all, my name is Michael Romano and I teach 7th grade science. I have been teaching 7th grade science at East Hamilton for four years. I received my bachelor's degree in biology and masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Tennessee Tech University in 2015.
Major topics of study in 7th Grade Science include the Scientific Process, Engineering Design, Matter, Periodic Table, Cellular Structure and Function, Heredity, and Human Impact on the Earth. Your child will develop models, plan and conduct investigations, use mathematical and computational thinking, and construct explanations of real world phenomena. I believe in a hands-on inquiry approach to teaching science; your child will be expected to work well both independently and collaboratively with others on short-term and long-term projects.
