Irene Beam
I was born and raised in Mount Vernon, NY, located directly north of the borough of the Bronx. After high school I moved to the Tampa Bay area of Florida to go to college. In 1992, I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Special Education. I taught 11 years in Hernando County, Florida and then in 2003, our family moved to Chattanooga. I have been teaching at East Hamilton Middle School since 2016.
